THE ROYAL CANADIAN REGIMENT - The London Music Archives - 1973

I came across this website tonight that had the old recording of The Regimental Band and the Pipes & Drums of the 2nd. Bn. The Royal Canadian Regiment.

I thought I would pass on the link to the website for those who are interested. Just click on the links to listen or right click and select "Save Target As" for Internet Explorer or for Firefox select "Save Link As".

This is the album that inspired me to join the Pipes & Drums of the 2nd. Bn. The Royal Canadian Regiment.

Great site.  Thanks.

I met Pipe Major David Carrigan as a young man, he knew my brother.  They served in the Black watch together.  I crossed paths with him years later (1967-68?) at the Royal Military College in Kingston Ontario when I was an intructor at the Sigs School.

I too had a brief stay with the 2RCR P&D before posting to London. Then a stay with the 1RCR Cof D. I was also the Drum Major for the Cof D
Fond memories of both associations.

Hi Bob,

I believe that is a typo in the album info. It should read Pipe Major Donald Carrigan (R.I.P.)
