Hello Jim;
SITREP FOLLOWS: - Retired from the Regiment in March 1997, where upon we bought a house here in London. Denise served on for another two years, before she also retired from the Forces. She now works here in London. As for me, after retirement (from April 1998), I was the weekend guy (Sat & Sun) at The RCR Museum front desk until February 2005. Now my main job in life is 'Chief Cook and Bottlewasher' and looking after my Grand-daugther (9 months old). I've also managed to write and have a book published (August 2005), entitled 'The Kangaroo in Canadian Service' and have another due to be published this Spring (2006) entitled 'On Active Service'. I also managed to assist and contribute to two other books, the first being 'Tools of the Trade, Equipping the Canadian Army' (1939-1945), which was published in April 2005 and the second is to be published in the UK this Spring (2006), entitled 'Canucks by the Sea, The Canadian Army in Eastbourne during the Second World War'. So you can see, I'm keeping myself busy and out of trouble.......  ..... so far.
