Jim

You are in the middle, on the left I think is Clarence Bowers, back row right is Andy I think and your number one hit in Cyprus was Down in the Boom Docks.

Hi Willy

You old dog you. How did I forget that there are guys around like you. You pull a certain string that's attached to my heart. You know that song plays even today I can't help thinking of the boys in the band. What about the guy on the left of Bob?

Hi Ajdt

The names are:

#1 Johnny Bowers, #2 Jim Hickson, #3 Gene Cromwell,  #4 Art Sangster,  #5 Bob Andrews. I've cleaned up the pic a bit.

I've also included a newspaper article for your perusal.

How many photos have you got Jim. Just looking at the band that you listen and danced with reminds me of the band that we had at
Fort ST. Louis. Ours were Johnny & the Cyclones. Like you guys we thought ours was the best but as you get older you realize just how much talent
that all the outfits had back then being in hockey baseball etc. and the comradeship that is developed can never be felt by any one who has never served
in any of the Infantry Regiments at least as far as i am concerned. Could be wrong but don't think so. You may lose track of some but memories are still strong.
Rick Smith and i go back to 1963 in Germany and still keep in touch, him in Windsor N.S. & me in Oshawa Ont.
Enough already.

Hi Bob

I don't know how many pics I've got and I've always played in a band except when
I was RSM of 1 RCR. From before I joined the Army in 1961 to 2004 I've played until
I had my stroke. Now, it's the hardest thing to do is not play. I still got all of my instrumets
just in case I can play again. You never know with technology advancing as fast as it does!!

I concur with your remark about being in an Infantry Regiment. I still keep in touch with 2 members
of the band, that goes back to 1963 as well and many other right up to 2004. The best time I had
in a band was 1996 - 2001 when I was Base Chief in Wainwright. The CO I had said if you want to
play, play. So I did. Ohh the memories!!

Well tell me somemore about yourself!!!
