sorry Don its taken me awhile to get back to you. They were good times and I am enjoying the photos that you have put up.
Is there anyone out there that would remember my cousin Squirrel Crawford (Butch) from Oshawa who I met while he was with the Royals in Germany in 63-64. I was with the Watch at the time and ran into him in A.Dam while on leave.I walked into a bar with 3 of my guys and there he was dancing on a table with a Beatle wig on.Niether one of us new we were there in Germany. I said what & the h--l are you doing and of course the fellows he was with got up from the table and the guys who were with me thought Geez here we go. It ended up be a good night with a few laughs and no punch up.
good memories

OH WOODY OH WOODY you sure bring back old memories there. By the way is squirel still floating around somewhere?Huh I do remember those days where the State Side club in Amsterdam. They were serving Beer on the street because the Canadian Beattle were in for a week from Soest. We never had to pay for a drink for the week, Pinky Carleton, Marcel Thibeau, Jack Meigs, Phil Arseneault, Squirrel Crawford and I and a few more would step occasionally fun was had by all. The good old days work hard and play harder. Pro Patria

Hi Aldore, its takes me awhile to get back as i am still on the employement line until  the end of June & then we (Yvonne) and i will be headed to the East Coast for 5 weeks.
Sorry to say Squirrel has passed on. It wasn't to long after he had got out & came home from Germany. He got into a h_ll of a veh accident & both legs were broken. After trying to find work & couldn't he wanted to get back into the Forces, but of course with his busted up legs he couldn't. Afraid he took his own way out. I have great memories of that time we met in A.Dam. I still a a good chuckle about it. Don't know if you were one of those fellow soldiers but maybe we will meet some day day & have a couple for Butch.
Thanks for sending a message.

Woody, It would be more than a pleasure to tip a few which I'm known to have do so a few times. I live in Baie Ste Anne NB and if you and the Miss are in this area do not hesited to drop in. If you are in this village just ask for me and they will point you in the right direction. You can also visit me on the www.escuminacbeach.com
As for my close friend I feel very sad for him, he was such a nice guy and very fun for the 3 years I knew him, and for many years I was wondering what had ever happen to him and Marcel Thibeault.
Again if don't East do stop in. Aldore Pro Patria
