Can't be sure but he sure reminds me of (Puss guts) Renni

No  disrespect intended. It was just his nick name at the time.
Although I'm sure that no one said it to his face. LOL

Hi Aldore

His name was ERIC 'SQUEEGE' NORMAND. I'll tell you a little story. Before joining the Army me and Benny Jewer and Eric

Normand used to hang around. Well Benny stole a car and picked Eric and me up outside the Snowden Tavern. We went along

with Benny because he said it was his uncles car. We had a lot fun but the next day we saw the car again outside Benny's and it

had bullet holes in the trunk. We looked at the rear seat and where Eric was sitting there two holes. Eric looked and then he

fainted. When he woke up he said "I gonna join the army". Well he did exactly that and I went down and joined the too. Of

course I was only 16 years so I joined the 'Green Monsters' and when it was time for me to sign on I took a job with a

construction company and went to Pembroke to work. While at work one day I got caught in a blast of dynamite and hitch

hiked back to Montreal after being released from the hospital. I too went down to the Army and joined. Well the rest is history

and PRO PATRIA. Benny is 64 now, is married and a Grandfather.

Another "squeegee" story. In Cyprus in 74 he was detailed to paint the toilet seats. Old squeegee became inebriated during the task, forgot he painted the seat s, sat down, did his thing , fell asleep on the john and the paint hardened, needless to say, when he awoke was in dire straights, stuck to the seat with both legs asleep, somewhere there is a photo....shortly after that, became BC Robinsons driver, and that leads to more stories..drove the RSM away on a visit, became slightly soused and BC returned doing the driving was reassigned immediately..by the way I live not far from BC and see him in the Legion here in Woodstock..still looks the same.
