I also agree. Should help eliminate most of the spam. Thanks.

About time, I have always wondered why an ex-Military would want to go unknown. And if they were RCR they should be proud. It has been very hard to find old friends when most people do not use their names and in a lot of cases use no name at all (Guest).

Can someone please tell me wht Guests can have postes under action "Unknown Action", I do not care for guests coming in here and then not even being open enough to let us know where they are looking let alone what they are doing here.

Just My opinion but if Full Regestered members can be followed when on site why do Guests get a pass and run around without the same restrictions? Guests should have less privilages then the membership not more.

Guests do not have "more privileges", when the system shows them as "Unknown Action" it is because they are simply doing something the board doesn't have a built-in description to list.  Maybe they are in the middle of a search function, perhaps they are trying to look at a profile they can't get to and have received a generic response screen.  It does not mean they are able to do something you cannot.  Keep in mind that this is a very simple (i.e., free) message board system, even I don't have that many privileges.

Due to an unusually large flood of spam posts this morning, I have temporarily removed permission for unregistered guests to post to the forums.  Hopefully this will only be a temporary measure.  I apologize for any inconvenience to Royal Canadians who wish to post.

Yes, and it looks like even removing the permissions on Guests isn't stopping all of it.  I guess some of the spammers are writing better software than the forum.  We will do what we can to eliminate it whenever it appears.
