Hey Joe, glad to hear all is well with you. WOW going for 40 years that's a great career. As for Gerry he moved back to NB, I guess it was last year he is in the Fredericton area, I talked to him a few times and he is doing well. I sure do remember our days in Cyprus and the great holiday you and I and Joe took when we toured the island some real good memories which I will never forget. Good to hear from you Joe and stay in touch and take care.

I don't know how I missed this post. Smiley Though not an easy task, I disabled the Censorship program.  I set this board up as a vehicle for soldiers to hopefully find each other and keep communications going.  I'd rather lose the "Automated Censor  Filter", than a single visitor.  It's your site, I only volunteer to try and keep it working, because I owe everything I am to the people and Regiment both past and present that have allowed me to make the RCR a part of my life.
Grin... My little girl just turned six on 05 Feb 06, and she's my personal censorship filter.  Can't sneak nothing by her. Smiley

I remember CSM Bentley from my days in 3RCR R coy.  He was a down to earth guy and probably the best Sgt Major in the battalion.  He was strict but we still had an amazing time.  Congratulations Sir.

Ah, yes...my fondest (or not) memory of Mr. Bentley was him leaning out of the crew commander hatch of a grizzly, grabbing this young pte by the front of his Parka, lifting him off of his feet and stating if I ever let my C2 touch the snow again, he'd stick it somewhere that the sun don't shine...

Greetings Mr Bentley....

Hey Joe

Congrats on fourty years long time. I remember when we had to take a bus to Ottawa for parade long day in the mess and partying in the back of the bus. I stumbled up front and started leaking on the bus drivers leg he screamed you hit me with a paystick and I got a few extras. Those were the days.Haha

Cheers Randy
