Nice Pic Gerry, what were you thinking when you took this one? Is this a glimpse of the future? Just curious, what guys were thinking.. as this disaster could have been much worse than happened. Of course our best were out there and im sure made a huge difference on the ground, with the people. This is history Gerry , show us all you have, and thanks fior getting it up. ranrad

Hi Ranrad, I was driving the UMS sev deuce & 1/2 with trailer. The paquets started the night before at 17:30hrs from the parade square in Gagetown. We stopped a couple of times for fuel & coffee; we stopped once for an hour sometime at 0 dark 30 and crashed at some greasy spoon which the owner graciously allowed these soldiors to catch some zees. We arrived at the complex in Saint Jean (what a stink with the place full of troops and no air exchange / conditioning) about noonish before heading to Saint Cesare. Was about a 19 hour road move. First thing that went through most of hour heads when we saw the destruction & ice was "sheeeeeeiiiiitttttt...." We were mostly looking forward though to getting a couple of hours of shut eye before beginning what we were tasked to do.
