Hi Donna, my good buds Geoff wasn't a Spooners guy . In reference to Terry, kind of wondered what happened to him; Terry, Randy Greene and myself were summer-tasked to Ipperwash one summer (mid-80's) working the junior ranks mess (bar-tending; stock ect). Three Newfs in charge of a bar ; it was during the Blue Jays first pennet win I believe. thought it was going to be a sh***y summer, but needless to say, it turned out to be a good summer - remember we had some spillage once or twice

Hi Gerry those were the good old days, lots of good memories, guess you heard rick and linda split up, you would think terry would check this site out, hasn't anyone heard of where he is or anything, oh by the way changing the subject do you know any social workers in the army, I am going to school to be a social worker, I read about it on the forces web page, I think it would be quite interesting, I work full time too so I'm pretty busy these days, hope you had a good new years take care bud.

Hi Donna, only social worker in uniform I knew was 'Dave' in Gageotwn. He started out as a clerk, went back to school and commisioned as a social worker. Dave married a military nurse Carol-Anne, but they both did their time (dave had over 28 years). They retired and went back carlo-anne's hometown of Port aux Basques. Ceck out at the nearest recruiting center, especially if you are already accepted and in school. Depending on what year you are in, you could be accepted as DEO (direct entry officier), (not sure but) maybe ROTP (regular officier training program) or some other program.

Donna,
I spent 20 years in the CF's, my first three as a Royal in London, and unfortunately I was medically released due to wear and tear on the body. I was lucky enough to be offered the rehabilitation program sponsored by SISSIP (military life insurance program). Through this program I went to Dalhousie Uninversity in Nova Scotia and attained a Bachelor of Social Work Degree (BSW). It was a a long road, but worth it as I have been working in the field for over ten years now. In addition, I have also completed my Masters Degree in which I completed a case study on "Operational Stess" and the impact on members of the military. If you would like any info on Social Work I would be more than happy to converse with you, so send me an e-mail if you are interested.
Regards,
Bob

Hi there,
The last time I seen Terry was when the Boyle Cup was held in Ottawa in 2000. We did some practice in Pet first and I seen him there. He was on his way to Regina I think for an RSS posting. Not sure where he went after that.

Hey Dave you're right out of her, LOL just kiddin buddy, but I think you mean 2002 cause Terry and I were in 1 RCR PNR's together in '95, '96. Then I went to 3 RCR and kinda lost track of good ole Terry and Mary.
But just checked out the CF Email system and found a Cpl Terry Hannn in Greenwood, an Ammo Tech or something. Sent him an Email to see if he's the same guy that was in 1 RCR in London and Pet with us. if it is I'll let him know about this web site and tell him people are wondering about him. Later Troops, see everyone at the Reunion!!

Never served with a Terry Hann. But there was a RCR WO Terry Hann at the Cadet Det in Regina a few years ago (wife was a retired CF Cook) He left Regina for the Gander area around 2004....maybe 2005.

Hey Doug, Years and names seem to blend together. To many aluminium pot meals. Yeah, you are right cause we did the 6B together sometome around '98. I was on that same Pace Stick competition (Battle School Team) on Parliment Hill (compliments of Joggin' Joe) and he was there. Looked through an old album and found some shots of him. 2 RCR victorious as I recall. Definetly Sk - my bad on the year.

Hey Dave, I know exactly what you mean man, my memory, christ I have a hard time remembering some things and then others are like they just happened yesterday, anyway man take care buddy and hope to see you at the reunion.
Donna, got a reply back from the Terry Hann in Greenwood, not the Terry Hann we were looking for, I think there's a few other options I have here in Kingston to try to track ole Terry down. I think Rob Peyton was a buddy of his and Rob is here now so I'll talk to him today, and there are a few old Royals here that have remustered, when I see them I'll ask about Terry. Later.
