Several of those people were around in 67 - 74 but I don't know where they were. They were in the Royals. Like me, I served all my feild time with 1 RCR. In 61 - 73, 77 - 82, 88 - 90 all in 1 RCR. In 73 - 77 CFOCS (OFFR SCHOOL) 82 - 84 (SIT SCHOOL) 84 - 88 Career Mgr, 90 - 95 Adm Per and 95 - 99 Base CWO Wainright. I didn't plan to give you a breakdown of where I served but there it is. So Pro Patria Ken. Imagine that, a name like "Chucky Cauldwel" made me do that.

I was also in HQ with Chuck Cauldwel. I'll never forget the time that I became his PERNAMENT COS. He was NOT liked by many but you had to like him when you got to know him. You see back in 1962 he was my 2nd CSM and I did't like him, but by 1971 you could say he settled down and was a better man. I don't know if he is still alive but the last time I saw him was in Ottawa. We get together for a couple of beer. Pro Patria

Yes he had a brother (passed away from cancer) in 1 RCR and 3 RCR and Battle Shool where John only served in 2 RCR and
1 RCR and retired as Regimental CWO.

Johnny was my detachment commander - he was a M/Cpl then - in Recce Pl, 2 CDO......glad to see he made it to CSM. Did he get his Chiefs?

Yes he made it to Regimental Chief Warrant Officer then took his commission and made it to Major where he is today.
