Regret to inform the Regiment of the Passing of Larry Soroka, December 12, 2006 in Kingston, Ontario. Larry served with the 1st Bn from 1961 - 1989 retiring in Kingston. Details will be forthcoming as they are made available.
Rest in peace brother and dear friend. Our condolences to the Soroka, family.

All Royals: Additional info on the passing of Cpl Larry Soroka, Larry, will be resting at the James Reid Funeral Home Kingston, 1900 Johncounter Blvd Kingston, Ontario K7M 7H3. Visitation Friday from 1 - 2 pm, followed by The RCR Associatiion service Friday evening at 7pm. Funeral will be Saturday at 1pm from the James Reid Funeral Home.
Condolences to the Soroka family.

Larry Soroka was a good soldier. In the late sixties Larry and I were on the small arms team together. One of the best memories. Rest peacefully Larry. My condolences to your family and freinds. Pro Patria

All Royals: Just returned from Kingston, Ontario December 17, 2006 and attended Cpl Larry Soroka's funeral. Royals paying their respects were Maj Gen Walter Holmes, Dave Boyd, Bob Conrad, Ernie Matchett, Paddy Schroeder, Kerkland, Harvey Geneac, Dab McDonald, Tom Long, Murray Weldon, Ron Parkison, Ray Campbell, and many others from the Korean, War up to the present day. Also Major Kerk Soroka, CF 18 pilot with the Cold Lake Alberta, Sq.
RIP Larry.
