Sitting here in my truck in a parking lot in Lacombe AB, trying out the new wireless laptop system, Thought i would take this oppurtunity to wish the Regimental family all the best for a Merry Christmas. Hoping you all remain safe through the holidays (and always) and a special wish for the members presently in Afghanistan and the ones going, i wish that you all return home to your families ASAP and safe! The thoughts of myself and my immediately family are with you daily. keep the armour on boys, your wits about you, your eyes moving, your weapon at arms reach! You are doing great work over there and the whole world is taking notes on how to do it the Canadian way. You make me proud to be a Royal Canadian! Merry Christmas Troops, i close this letter in silent prayer for all of you.
