Thanks Ghalsey; I first knew Dennis as a MCpl in Cyprus 74-75, later he was RSM in th e Golan 85-86, hell of a soldier , great guy.All these guys were a blend of old and new soldier and they did a masterful job without losing any effectiveness as a top leader.I do hope he is doing well, ranrad

Great guy saved a couple of guys on a field grenade range and I think it may of been on this exercise, The guys behind us dropped a grenade and he jumped in and got them out of the hole blew a C2 in half, but no injuries other than that.
Awarded the Medal of Bravery

The guy in the purple pants next to Carlos is the OC. I remember when the incident when WO (at the time) Robinson received the Medal; I was in the pit just before the incident in Pet. One of the troops (later became known as ' Booom, Boom' ) pulled the pin and the grenade fell out of his hand, falling into the pit with the troops. Dennis grabbed the troops & threw 'em bodily out of the pit, before jumping out himself. -good man, best paltoon WO I ever had.

Hi Geoff, can't remember the guy's name sitting with the purple / yellow stripe sitting, but I think he was a YTEP; did his time and got out. He was my M72 partner for that big live fire defensive ex in Pet'. We must have shot off about 1o or more '72's between the 2 of us. Good shoot. I remember we were just shooting one after another and he pulled one short (ie pressed on the firing button and the front went down also). All I remember we got down in the the trench and it started raining clumps of dirt . He then did an Erkel, "Did I do that?"

Yes That I remember I was on the 84 crew beside you remember the guy in the tree in the back blast area The sand bags burning behind us
