LOL!!! Ya got me Jim!! However a little trivia. Willard was one of my Instructors when I was a cadet at Ipperwash in 1978. He was a Sgt then. I told him that years later when he was my Platoon Warrant in 1RCR. We had a ha ha over that. Now for the serious part. Some of the teaching hints Willard taught us in 1978 I used years later in the regular military to success. Smart soldier, walking wealth of knowledge.

Without a dought best boss i ever worked for military or civy.When we were leavin Cyprus Williard bought the boys that were left with  recce cigars sort of a last time thing before we got on the buses to go to the plane.Well i don't smoke nor did Benny Soo plus the night before we were partyin hard make along story short worst bus ride of me life me an Benny were gagin all the way to the plane.To this day i can't go the smell of cigars.

Hi Jim, he joined in 64 went through depot in North West Canada Platoon in around March as I was in the same platoon.

Hi Don

I know he went through in 64 and you were in his Pl, but where's he from and how old is he??
I don't remember him because I went through in 61 and was posted to Germany in 62 as a brand new L/Cpl. The second time I remember running him was in 1975. The Airborne was conducting a Mountain School at the east end of the park in Jasper. I was posted to Chilliwack and had driven my Motorcycle to Jasper. I joined the Airborne for 3 weeks and I saw Willard at the Bridging Site.
