Nice view from BB#3

BB3  Huh Huh Huh
Thats BB#4 in the background of the photo with the old mess hall, turned E Coy stores, turned Coy offices on the right.
BB3 would be out of sight to the left.
Picture taken from BB#2. Most likely 3rd floor stairwell on the west end of the building. This would line up with the enterance sidewalk for BB#2. Picture is looking south.
Bright spot top center must be a reflecton of the camera flash as it can not be the sun as the shadows in the picture show the sun is in the west & there was nothing near or behind BB#4 to cause such a big reflextion at that angle.
JR's mess out of sight to the right.
Vehicles would make a right turn to exit parade square between BB#2 and the Coy stores/RQMS building.

Best Wishes: Rick

Yes...we were together in TQ3, B Coy, then E Coy ADP...I left July '82...Saw him in RV '85 with the beard, so knew he went Pioneer.
Billy Thomas moved in when I left..not sure if Dick moved at that time or stayed.

cheers

Dick is presently in Shearwater (has been ever since he LOTPed to air frame tech). I'm meeting him home in Pouch Cove NL for Grandmother's 88th in mid may.

Hi Gerry. Tell Dick I said Hi. Do you know if he will attend the Reunion. Whatever happened to Glen Byrne the Newfoundlander? The last time I saw him or heard from him was in 91 when we were in Borden together. We were neighbours in the PMQs. He was married at that time to a lady by the name of Donna. Pat Noseworthy was there also at that time.

Hey Dennis. No, doubt Dick will be going to the reunion. Glen Byrne I use to see in a blue moon down at the strip mall in Oromocto when i posted there (left 06). seen and had a few beer in Borden with Dick (was on a course) 'Fred' (Gerard) Finlay, & Pat Noseworthy in 2000 when I was on my 6A medic course. Fred & Pat were (?are) civilian fire-fighters in the local area.

Says he's really thinking about geteting one and coming on the site.
'course I cna't get him to answer his emails on the military DWAN site...
