Did anyone watch the documentary , IN KOREA with Norm Christie on Thursday evening ? Very interesting , and must have brought back a lot of  sad and bad memories for those who served there . Ed Mastronardi was a spokesman for the RCR . Lt Mastronardi won the MC , Pte Bauer won the DCM , and  Pte Johnson won the MM , while serving with 2 RCR , 2 platoon A Coy , in a ferocious battle that started on the night of 2/3 Nov 1952 . The "COMMIES" had warned the platoon by shouting out , Canada Boy , You Die Tonight . I am sure all the Royals said to themselves , i don't think so . LT, later Capt , Mastronardi was a very smart man . He served in the RCN in WW2 , CDN Army (RCR) Korea , and later RCAF , as a fighter pilot . One would have to say , he had a very interesting life . Capt Mastronardi says he is the last surviving member of his platoon , and if he takes pride in anything , it is the fact that they  brought out all of their wounded , which is the Third Rule of Conduct that applies to all Royal Canadians under all conditions of service (Regimental Catechism) . No wounded member of the Regimentwill ever be left on the battlefield ! "PRO PATRIA"
This afternoon at 1600 , the above documentary will be shown again on the History Channel , well worth watching .
