Proper way to dress as a former Royal on Nov. 11?

What would be appropriate to wear to a Remembrance Day Ceremony, as a way to show that I once was a Royal? I'm young, and wasn't in long, but I do want to honour the day and the people in such a way as to show my Regimental Affiliation.

Can any of you older ex-Royals help me out?

Thanks!

Regimental tie, beret and hatbadge usually sends a message.  Smiley I like to wear my Blue beret as well. But with the RCR hatbadge.

Pte Hopkons ref Proper Dress:  Usually a former Royal would wear, Blaser and Flannel with white shirt and Regimental tie, Beret and Cap Badge.   If you do not have these , a suit  with shirt and tie(Regimental) if you have one.  Most Important wear a Poppie.  Good luck and thanks for showing support.

i was struggling with the same thing.

Also, presentation of honors and awards. I recently recieved the Canadian Peacekeeping Service Medal. Honorably awarded by the postman??

Anyway, it's not mounted. My CD and UNCYP are. So, I didn't wear them or my beret. I kind of stood in the back and quietly slipped out.

I find rememberance day to be very emotional. One of the reasons I chose not to have my Peacekeeping medal awarded, but to recieve it quietly.

Thank you to those who gave their lives so that we could enjoy our freedom. Rest in peace my comrades, friends and Royal brothers who have made the ultimate sacrafice in service to our great country. Please Lord, protect our brothers and sisters serving at home and abroad and please remind those countrymen who are so vocal against us that their right to express has been protected by those who serve.

Dear Lord, please give me the strenght to conduct myself with the honour and bravery my brothers have.

I was away this Nov 11th. though I had my medals and wings, went to the local service pinned to my leather vest. No one said a word to me one way or the other. I at least have served. Unlike some of the "legion social club types".
