Sammy was one crazy bugger. Who else could get sent to NDMC for a psych eval. before promotion to cpl. After my knee operation there I had to go back for a follow up check up and took Sammy his mail. He was having a riot spinning the doctors minds. Grin
Finally they got feed-up with him & returned him to London for promotion. We spent many hours together in Noraway with key coy. Him as the platoon comd. signaler & myself as the driver.
Heard he remustered to Weapons tech.
Not sure but I seem to remember hearing he is retired & in the Toronto area.

Best Wishes: Rick

Ps: Not many of us could say we were certified sane.

Mike i know you can't deny remembering me, we spent only three of my most memorable years in the battalion in mortars.  Remember warrant Macarty and the bull dozer that night in meaford, or how about the turkey hunt on my mortar course.  It is good to hear from you Mike, i have read some of your accomplishments over the years,  "Congratulations" .  So Halifax ay?  Remember i left the platoon to go there myself for two years, had a great time.  If i know you as i once did then you have already researched Halifax thouroughly  Have fun it is rich in history.  Take it easy Mike,  Tim

I'm Back!!
I spent a few years  at CFSEME, the Canadian Ranger and B Maint  Borden then went  "adrift" (Navy tern for AWOL)with the RCMP and Health Canada.
I'm back on the team with NDHQ as the LCMM for Welding and Mechanical Tools. I try my best to lok after any requests from the Maint pls in the Bns

Dave Powell encouraged me to attend the 125th Reunion. Terry Hanny,Tim  McCully, Fred Deadman and Rick Ball greeted me with open arms. I thought I'd be "the bastard son come home" but I WAS WRONG!!! BIGTIME

Thanks for the warm welcome back and I'm sorry for loosing touch with this family

Sam, Great to have you this close again and thanks for the little talk we had at 03:30 the other day.  I firmly believe that you would make a strong peer councillor at an OSI clinic Brother.  You impressed the hell out of me with your knowledge of the Cree language, and culture.  I have long held great respect for the First Nations people, you were able to break through to me were the doc hasn't been able.  THANKS Sammy, you are loved by many! C-ya soon Bro.

Thanks for the warm welcome back guys! I had to sit on the funnies at Health Canada becuse they had absolutly No Sense of Humour. The RCMP were pretty serious too. They are alot like soldiers but pay better and don't usethe F word as much.

I'm back and have some atching up to do. So think about me when you touch yourselves!
