hello I will be traveling to the 90th anniversery of vimmy ridge in 2007. i am a gr 10 student in ON. I have been assigned Pte Harry Leslie Currie as the Soldier i will represent. If you have any information/pictures to share i would really appreciate it. Thanks

Hopes this helps you. There is lots of information on Harry Curry on you computer. Here are a couple of ways you can find something. In any search engine type in Soldiers of the CEF. When a new page comes up click on Search the Database - Soldiers of the First World War. There will be a place to type in the name you are looking for. Only type in the last name, do not include a first name or initials. Complete the rest of the questions and click submit. A long list of Curries will come up, scroll to number 147. Click on the box by his name and his Attestation Papers should come up giving you personal information on him.
Also you can try CWGC in your search engine. Library and Archives should come up. Just scroll to Military and click on Soldiers of the First World War. Just follow the prompts and type in the info asked for and you will get info on the cemetery where he is buried.
