Jim:

The guy standing in the middle looks like Lt Dykens, to the right of him looks like a guy by the name of McKenzie, but I was pretty sure he remustered in about 85-86. The first guy kneeling, well it looks like Duke Elliott, but I don't think Duke was ever in London. The first guy on the left, his real name escapes me but we used to call him "Ruby" (the reason why escapes me now) but I ran into him in like 1991 in Edmonton, he was working in BC doing some reforesting or something along those lines. That's it don't recognize anyone else, and I'm about 95% sure that I am not in this picture...Ha Ha Ha, Take care Jim.

Yeah Jim, I'm 100%, Joe kinda hard to tell I guess, but looking at it, it kinda looks like the guy has the same, well not sure what that was on Lt Dykens face, birth mark or scar, also it kinda looks like he has a stripe or two on his slip-on. Later guys

Jim, Doug the guy standing on the left is Don Macarthur aka Newt,aka Ruby.  He went through Cornwallis and Battle School with me then got posted to C coy in 82.  He went to 3 commando around 86. The guy 2 over to his right is Brown, but i don't recall his first name.  I beleive this pic is of one of the shooting teams, maybe smg?

Not the SMG team as you look close you will see the various types of weapons some including the BoPup a MAC 10 etc.

The bigger format allows for a better view of the weapons, including the Israeli 5.56mm Gallil introduced to the IDF as a replacement for their M-16s in the mid-70s and the 9mm Uzi on the left, the .303 cal. Lewis Gun on the bipod in front with, perhaps, the 9mm  Mauser "BroomsticK" pistol, and what appears to be a 9mm. Schmieser standing rght.  lnteresting assortment. -- aldi

hey Jim James Ord here the guy in the middle is craig Bowden, he is now in Owen Sound Captain Bowden has been working with the foresters there,They have some of the best N.C.O,s from 1R.C.R training them for overseas... My son was with him last year.
