Barry if you see Larry pleae give him my regards. He was down to a function last year for the RCR Association I think it was the Regimental Birthday. He worked with me on a Demonstration in a number of malls in Southern Ontario. We had a great time and he did his job extremely well. Zulu29er

Hi Jerry ;
I agree , as there are lots of Royals in this area , it's just a matter of getting it together . We used to have a regular get together years ago , but that fell by the way side . Myself I live at Wasaga Beach .
The best way would be to find someone who is retired and has the time on his hands .

I find it interesting to see how high some people went. Although they were/are good soldiers and people, they were s___ disturbers when I knew them early in their military careers

Hi Jim
You Say "I find it interesting to see how high some people went. Although they were/are good soldiers and people, they were s___ disturbers when I knew them early in their military careers." Well I was once young and caused lots of sh_t but it wasn't on duty. If a soldier got into trouble for scrapping downtown and it was him protecting The Regiments Name it was ok by me, but if he got into trouble for starting a fight then is wasn't ok. You see, the system wasn't entirely fair for those in trouble. They treated all the same way. I had a Belgian soldier say some rotten things to me about my Regiment so he left me no room but to do him and I got stripped and 30 days for it. I wasn't even at the fight he mentioned, he picked me out of a lineup on Bn parade. Yes I did him, but it wasn't the night he said it was, it was the week before. I paid big time (5 years) for getting in trouble. Yes I had to put up with all the crap from the NCO's, especially those that would make a career from that type of incident (no names). So you see, there was no difference getting in trouble for protecting The Regiment's Name to just getting in sh_t. I would do the same thing again lolololol.

Greetings from Gagetown. I remember getting in S_ _ _ an awful lot when I first started out. Turned out ok though. Good pic of Larry and Lee King. I served with Larry in Mike company in 1980.
