The Dominion Institute has begun a petition requesting the Government carry out a State Funeral for the last Veteran of WW1, as a means of reflecting on our heritage, beliefs and to honour all veterans of the war and their families. You can find info on it and the petition at www.dominion.ca hope all will check it out. The petition just began this am and is going strong. The idea is still to allow the family to decide whether they would like the State Funeral, they will not be forced to, should they want a private or military funeral of their own wishes. For the info of all...ranrad
