Funny how the memories come back to you when yer sitting in yer rec room, sucking back a couple of coolies and, on this grand event, thinking about days gone by. many great times were had upon this da and as i sit here remebering the comradeship of the early days then the bonds of leadership that were made later, I can honestly say I will never, in my life, forget the mess dinners of the 1RCR WO & Sergeants mess!!!!

I'm looking at the eight pointed star, the hardcover book issued to the lads in Cyprus in 84... Faces with names forgotten, ouch, there i am, can it be!!!! Ithink I gained a pound or two... snicker... anyhow, Ive a glass fo Asbach Uralt and, with members past and presetn in mind,  heres tipping one to the lads of The Royal Canadian Regiment!

Bout this time in the old days, we'd be lfiring up one of those fine no name cigars and finishing off the final after dinner liqueur before retiring to the bar for an all-night engagement of serious drinkin and intense bouts of bullcrap baffles brains.... ;-)

God bless you all on this grand event and, naturally, Pro Patria!
