Hi Mike.
It's good to see some stuff about the Mortars. I would say that without a doubt it was the best time i had spent in the military. It was like family. It is good to see some names and faces that bring back some great memories. There are a lot of stories that can be told about the Platoon and the people in it , but unfortunately they cannot be told in here. They would go good with a few BEERS.
Thanks again Mike.

Hey Bill? What was the Brit exchange officer's name? Robertson? I think this was taken when the officers were invited into the mess at Christmas.

Good news! You were in a lot of pain last time we talked, Bill. Glad to see you found some work that does not aggravate it any more then necessary. Merry Christmas to you and yours, brother.

Some more mortar pictures, 3RCR this time. Munster, northern Germany.

Prepare to move.....

Achtung... as you might recall, the bus dropped you off on St Paulie avenue... Used to go for the ride to check out... a tatoo parlour... dude was unbelieveable, good enough to have his own TV show today.

Just found this note... Motivation from the lads of the group during a particularly interesting adventure in Norway. Mike H, you may recall the time? And Bill Norman and the rest of the lads from 1RCR Mortar Platoon. Heres a trivia question for you guys, who are glue and rush? The Brits, BTW, were the targets/enemy for this one... Iron Fist... bwahahahaaaaaaaaa... to funny. The end comments were in reference to my propensity for using my imagination when it came to end of mission protocols...   Wink You know, to make it interesting...

 snicker....
