1 RCR BOOKLET
« on: October 03, 2006, 10:03:18 AM »

Major Wally Stott and his dedicated staff , produced a 48 page photo booklet covering the tour of 1 RCR , Fort York , Germany 1962-65 . Apparently a lot of personnel never recieved a copy . I took my copy to Truro , and  a lot of people there , expressed interest in obtaining a copy . I checked out an imaging firm , and they gave an estimate of $ 6 to $ 7 to reproduce and the postage would be about $ 2.70 . The following people have expressed interest in obtaining a copy . Baumgarten , Coleshaw , Curry , Harper , Ireland , Kingston , Oostrom . Anybody else interested ?
Two mistakes i noticed , there was not a group photo of "A" Coy , and "C" Coy photo was inserted backwards , other than that , the booklet is quite good . What is in it for me to have booklet produced ? "Zilch" , just cost recovery . "PRO PATRIA"

Have everyones name , so far there are 16 Royals wanting a copy . Will wait
until the end of the month , for more people to respond . Your credit is
okay everyone , and you can remit payment on receipt of booklet . Thanks
for the flowers Ranrad , and you too Ed Meecham . I don't have a scanner,
perhaps that would be the way to go ? Thanks Jim Hickson for the offer ,
but i would have to send my copy to you , and then you would have to
send it back , and if it ever got lost i would be devastated . Apparently
these booklets are as scarce as hens teeth . I think , everyone will be
satisfied with their copy when it arrives .
