Aldore clearly has a great memory. What was the occasion, any idea?

Hi Mike
That was Capt Jarrett's funeral. He died on a "golden boot" march from lack of salt in his body. At the time of the accident, I had been told to get his web gear and carry it for him by the CSM of the Coy WO 2 N.S. Horn. I, being the L/Cpl Hickson, went to him and said "Sir give me your web gear". He said "NO" and with that he grabbed a telephone pole and said "we will finish this march together". With that, he fell to the ground and and he died later on in the hospital. I felt bad for a week because he wouldn't give me his web gear. He was the Coy Comd and I was the L/Cpl.

I think your right, RT! It's either Ed or his twin brother....

Good to hear from you, Mike. I happen to know that Ed does not have a twin! It must be him. Thanks for the confirmation. RT
