The Ottawa Citizen , dated Tuesday Nov 22 , 2005 announced the passing of Elizabeth (Betty) Spry , beloved wife of the late Major/General Daniel C Spry . Funeral service Thursday Nov 24 , 2005 at 2:30 PM in Ottawa . Condolences/Donations/Tributes at mcgarryfamily.ca 613-233-1143 .
Major/General Spry was a distinguished officer of the RCR , and was a former Colonel Of The Regiment . I had the honour, of driving the Sprys up to Stratford Ontario in 1966 , to partake in military festivities with the local militia unit . /
