My Father Robert Joseph Lennox Buck passed away on Sept 18th, 2005 at the still young age of 74. My Dad had 8 long years of Alzheimers disease, which stole him away from us slowly. The last 2 years of his life he spent in Sunnybrook veterans long term care. My Dad fought in Korea and never liked to talk about it. I am trying to find out all i can now and it is not easy. If anyone out there knew my dad and has any info for me, i would greatly appreciate to here from you. I believe he was R.C.R 1. I know he was in Petewawa for sure. I am not too sure about anything else. Thanks for any info, Vanessa Buck.

Hi. I knew a Cpl. Buck (first names unknown). He was in the sniper platoon in the ist Battalion Royal Canadian Regiment. I was a Cpl. in the battalion Intelligence Section. I believe he had served at the parachute training school in Rivers and Shilo Manitoba. We were in the same tent prior to returning to Canada. Guys were always asking how many jumps he had...He would never tell us.Regarda. Bill Mossip.

Hi Gary
You mean Cpl Ed Buck. You see Ed passed away some time ago because DP Moore was the best man for him and he took Ed Buck's place and married his wife. He did just what a Best Man is supposed to do. I was living in Ottawa when he and his new wife cane for a visit. Now I heard that DP Moore passed on. Both of them good steady men. Pro Patria.
