"20 Questions - The Young Soldier"
I am looking for a few good Royal Canadians willing to answer a few questions on their earliest days in the Regiment. The "20 Questions - The Young Soldier" survey is designed to present a few questions that help to show what a young soldiers life was like in the years of his basic training and first years at the batalion. I would like to get a few examples from each decade (that folks are around to contribute from) and from different unit perspectives. A selection will find themselves on the regimental website, all responses with be archived for the Regiment.
The first contributions can be seen here - http://thercr.ca/history/20questions_young_soldier/20qs_young_soldier.htm

1. Got your email and I am almost done. Will send it by 22 Sep 06. Was actually quite fun trying to think about all the good trg that I was given. I still remember getting"jacked up" by MWO Hickson during a winter exercise for not having my rucksack sorted out. It is amasing how little things like that stay with you forever.

Well Sir, thanks very much for coming up with this. It will not only be educational, but historic and amusing. I was amused at Capt Bertins caption regarding his education from MWO Hickson... those Sgt Majors look after everyone, thanks again Sir, i am looking forward to reading responses, ranrad

I see that there are thirteen Royal Canadians posting here with over 100 posts each, surely they have a few minutes to answer 20 Questions and send me the results.
