Regret to inform follow Royals that Pte Roger Daigle, passed away August 20, 2006 at his home in Chatham, NewBrunswick, after a long battle with Cancer, in his 61 st year.  Roger, joined the 1st Battalion in Fort York, Germany 1965, and remained with the 2nd Battalion finishing his (3) year stint and release 1967.  Although Roger's service with the Regiment was three years he never forgot the many friends he had made while with the Regiment and often talked about them and the great times he had while in Germany and here in London.

Roger, being my first cousin introduce me to long time friend Pte Bob Card, AKA, WO Bod Card.  I have lost track of Bob's whereabouts and can only hope that he will see this posting and know that Roger has passed on. RIP.

Pro Patria Cousin.
