Message Board Conduct

The comments on the Message Board of certain individuals, particularly in regard to the photo challenge has been brought to my attention.
As Chairman of The RCR Association, I am dismayed by the childish comments and obscene language used on this web site.I find it difficult to believe that responsible and mature adults would conduct themselves in such a manner.
Thankfully, I note that the  offenders are not members of The Association.
The monitors (ie: Brian Watters) of our web site are volunteers who devote a great deal of their personal time and effort to the this project.
The members who abuse this web site in this manner also abuse The Regiment.

Dear Oscar, i agree and i am also dismayed that this incedent took place.  I am one of those users who is not a PAID member of the association, i have a hard enough time out here trying to put a meal on my family table.   Everytime i come on here the thought that i am not an official member of the association, is at the fore front of my mind.  This is something that i want to change and will eventually,  I have determined over the years that i can never leave my time in the Regiment behind me, believe me i have tried.  I have been accused of living in the past, told that i should never have left, etc.etc.   The pride i feel from being a Royal Canadian at an influential time in my life may be a little obssesive at times, and if anybody should be a paid up member it should be me.  This is an issue that i plan to change soon.  I wish to comment at this time that because i have not paid my dues will never change the fact that i am a Royal in my heart and soul, and will remain so till death do we part!!  sincerly, Tim McCully

Aye laddies, i agree whole heartedly. I would however like to ask if anyone on the site knows the one gentleman who , to me , may be reaching out for help, and that is his way. There is just too strong of an honourable background for the individual to have acted in that manner. I would ask, as a fellow comrade ,that if someone knows him, to try to contact him privatly, after all, he is a comrade and something is not right with all that, thanks, ranrad

Truer words were never spoken...ONCE A ROYAL ALWAYS A ROYAL...

The feeling of being part of a much larger family always seemed to resonate with me whenever the likes of numerous RSM's
rattled my chain or provided the gentle prodding with the pace stick....GOD love em..

This site has always seemed above reproach and I offer up a Bravo Zulu to those who make it so..

Cheers
