Looking for any Royals who were in Cyprus 2004-2005. Was with C-Company at the time and would like to make contact with any old comrades. Also wondering if anyone from who was in Cyprus during this time would be interested in a reunion of some sort. I have always wondered about this type of thing but I wasn't sure if there was any interest or how to go about setting one up.

Hey Whitie, I was with Duke's from '82 to '88 until LOTPed to med tech; was in Cyprus at the time you mentioned ( as a young 20 year old). Remeber being at Ledra, Bastion, Frezenburg etc (memories a bit fuzzy because of age, well, just a little, back then you could have more than 2 freakin' beer...but that's another point). You probably didn't know me (but if you spent time at the mess, I' m sure we had a couple of wobbly pops with a few of the troops). You might have known my uncle, Dick (Danny) Connors who was with the Pioneers ( we both LOTPed about the same time, 88 /89) about 4 years older than me. I just retired after 24 + years, but Dick is still in Shearwater (since he LOTPed ) as an AVN tech; Would love to see some of the troops from Cyprus back in '84, but I doubt; followed niner domestic (a clerk) who just got posted to Sept Iles Que for her last posting...Great place / people / troutin', but pretty remote...thank God for the internet...
