I've been contacted by Denis Toal, who is trying to track down any available information on Capt H.G.L. Hutton, CD. Capt Hutton's name has come up in relation to a trophy he presented to the Cadet Camp at CFB Borden. Unfortunately, over time, the purpose of the award and any information about Capt Hutton has been lost by the Cadet Camp. They are now considering rededicating the trophy and are looking for any possible background information that might help them research its origins.

If it is Capt Geoff Hutton you are referring to I believe he is in Ottawa. I spoke with him at the Ottawa officer's mess just before Strome Galloway passed away. That must have been about 6 or 7 years ago. I expect that if you were to contact Bob Butt at the national office of the Royal Canadian Legion in Ottawa he could help you out. He has a good handle on the goings on in that area. He is at bbutt@legion.ca Dave Willard
