This question is asked on the "new" Regimental home page. The National Archives in Ottawa hold a photograph of the officers of the R 22e R, taken in Italy  26 Jan 1944 , which includes a Lt. F. Hogan. Could this be him?  Pro Patria, Hugh Conway

Having been working on the Regimental Rolls of Honour for the Wars, I note that Lt Hogan is also listed in the Canadian Virtual War Memorial as an officer of The RCR. - http://www.vac-acc.gc.ca/remembers/sub.cfm?source=collections/virtualmem/Detail&casualty=2077783

The link to the page of the Book of Remembrance, however, does show his unit as "R 22e R". - http://www.vac-acc.gc.ca/content/collections/books/bww2/ww2336.jpg

Thank you Hugh.
