Good Afternoon,

Probably one of the younger lads in here. Readers' Digest follows:

John P Davis. Was 2 Svc Bn in Petawawa from 89-92. Got tired of all the politics so I got out. Realising job prospects in Kitchener were rather limited, I re-enlisted and went RCR. Best move ever!

After having to do basic again, it was off to Meaford in Jan of 96, then off to Petawawa again. 3rd Herd with O and R Coy until 2003 when I took a medical release at the rank of Cpl. Had the pleasure of many trips local and abroad in my short time in. After getting out, moved to Edmonton. Wife and I split and went back to Kitchener, Ontario. And I'll be following but once I hit London, that's where I dismount and dig in.

Upon reflection, being a Royal was probably one of the best moves I made in my life actually. Met tons of great guys, still in contact with a few. Dad (Keith LM Davis, Cpl) was right about that, him being a former Royal himself... Once a Royal, always a Royal. He was in from 66-76. His first posting was Germany, where yours truly entered the scene. Then it was off to Petawawa from 69 to 72, the he re-mustered to Dental assistant and wound up here in Edmonton until his Voluntary release in 76.

OK so that wasn't the most chronological intro ever, but I never claimed to be a major in anything relating to English Class. Roll Eyes And I guess this is where I sign off. Enjoy reading the forums, I'm sure I'll be talking to some of you as time wears on.

Been to the cottage lately? Been itching to get back up there for a while but the whole $ story, well, you know. Things here are going good. I think I spend more time at karen's than my own place LOL.
