Greetings all. Just received a tread of e-mails on the subject, one of which John Labelle (one of the originators) explains, since the recent federal election, he has received a promise (in writting) from Mr Jack Layton that Bill C-144 will be reintroduced during the next sitting of the house with full NDP support. Apparently over 90 pages of names reflexting over 30,000 canadians support this intiative. If you haven't already, its not too late to get in touch with your MP seeking his/her support accordingly......Cheers....Eli

Hi Eli ,this is the kind of stuff we should have more on this site .It's nice to B.S. with old freinds but if more people would use this site for things like this it would keep every one more informed and make us into a poitical force to be reckonded with, keep up the good work .Oh ya,you can bet your ass I'll contact my M.P.

Hello
              This bill has be re-introduced and is now C-221. It has the support of the NDP and the Block.
The two main parties are keeping their opinions very close to the coller. If this is to pass it requires our help.
Please send an email to your local MP's to ensure they get on board.

Thanks Chewie, and i will be sending to my MP to day. He is also the Con.Member at alarge, or something like that on the Vet. Affairs of present gov. He has expressed his interest and concern for all things involving veterans aso we can now find out where his heart is. His name is Colin Mayes and is MP for my area of the Okanagan. All can find email addresses for their MPs by going to Canadian Members of Parliament. Thanks again, and i hope all will be sending request to their MP to SUPPORT this BILL. ranrad Sad
