Poem
« on: June 30, 2006, 07:40:43 AM » |

My thoughts are filled with prayer today, four more soldiers passed away. They were men of courage and pride, who stood thier ground while the foe ran to hide. they did thier job because they believe in the people and the country which behind they leave. Our soldiers went to Afganastan with muzzles down and a peaceful hand. I too was a soldier in my younger day, my heart is with them along the way. When asked to fly the flag down low, Prime minister Harper simply said "NO". People were angry, but i agree, For the soldier needs his flag to see, Flying high and clear above the fight, Whilst below they engage with all thier might. So lets not put our flags at half mast, untill our soldiers are home, and safe at last. Tim McCully May/06
