Hello to everybody. Sorry I am late but have been away for a month. I see some wonderful messages on screen and it is nice to see so many participants still active.I hope everybody has a good year in 2008.
2007 was a bad year for me. I had a hip replacement and followinfg recovery of that I had a very bad fall so am still recovering from that , Cane and all. However, by Feb 1 st the surgeon says my back should be reasonably be back to normal. so am looking forward to that.Otherwise my health seems to be good..
Pro Patria to all. George Burrows.

George, had I not been in a hurry earlier today, I would have beaten you to this. I passed your name while looking at past posts and said to myself,"SELF", you got to write that Mr. Burrows and wish him the best in the coming year, and thank him again for his parts in our freedom and building of both Canada and the Regiment in which I had the priviledge to serve. George, Mom just got one of those new Titanium hips 2 weeks before Christmas, she is doing well with her recovery as I know, will you! I look forward to more of your valuable posts this year, as I did last! Speed in Recovery George, all the best to you and Family in 2008. Tim

George, geeez, too freaking bad about the fall, you were really sounding positive after the operation. Hope you are feeling better and throw that cane away toute suite!

Thank you Mike and Ranrad for your comments, very much appreciated. Went to my daughters in EDMONTON for a month. Had a super time too. Used my cane and wore a GIRDLE FOR MY BROKEN VIRTABRAE and got along real good. Seen a friend who is a back surgeon before leaving and was advised that my back should be o.k. by Feb/o8. Feels reasonably good right now. Must see him in Feb for confirmation. Hope allis well. We have booked a CRUIOSE TO THE MED in May/08 for 12 days out of Rome. Must get back on the treadmill in Feb and recondition my leg muscles. after resting for 3 months. Pro Patria to all.
