What era is this? and Lordy lordy whats that stickin' out the barrellof the 50 cal. ? Thanks for all the great pics you put up Jim, i am a history buff and even tho' i don't know all the people, do know several, and it is interesting to note differences in dress, both military and civilian over the years. You do a great job with the pics and i hope all are getting on here and having a look and reminise a bit, see, old pals etc, ranrad

Thanks for the info on this one Jim, very inetresting to recall, but this slightly ahead of my time, there is of course so much to learn about even one element of a Bn, it all has interested me for most of my life and i do realize that many tend to just skip over history thinking it has now gone by, and weapons ,like the people change and move on, but i have found there are very interesting stories that begin in the smallest spots.. one or two people.. thanks again, Andy
