Hi Glen After leaving the military in '92, the only person I've briefly crossed paths with was Bob Seckler, who was doing military consulting for the Vancouver film industry. Seeing some of the names in this post got me thinking about the decent guys I've worked with in the RCR. People like Dave Fisher, Steve Coughlin, Brett Bannerman and many more. I don't reflect too much on my time in the Forces but when I do, it's damn good. Yes, I still remember the Grant...too many punches to the head to ever forget Regards Dave Hansen 3 RCR 85-92 O Coy, Recce Platoon

Hi Glenn, I remember the name quite well, how are ya? Todd Watson here, November Coy. 85-92. Am in touch with a few of the old guys, not the ones you mentioned but some you'd probably recognize. Rob Fournier, Rob Seckler, Mike Greville, Scott Watson, Wayne Nicholson and Tony Lambert to name a few. Good to hear from more Royals, been a long time.
Drop me a note and let me know what you are up to if you want. toddwatsonis@shaw.ca
Todd.
Hey Todd, Wayne Nicholson rebadged in 99 after our stint in Bosnia. Actually, the process began in 98 but he was pretty tight lipped about it, but a week before we shipped home he ended up receiving his PPCLI cap badge. Talk about getting ribbed. He was on one of the first planes back to Canada and he was gone from Petawawa by the time I got back at the end of January 99. If memory serves, he went to the 3rd Bn PPCLI in Edmonton, but he could be anywhere now.

Wayne Nicholson is now one of Winnipeg's finest as he did not want to move to Shilo with the PPCLI battalion after Kappyong Barracks closed. Paul Lanteigne sees him regularly as he lives in Selkirk, MA. Van Veen is in Owen Sound and now works at the nuclear power plant with 'Little Dan', and a few other old dogs from Winnipeg or Germany, while Len Murphy, Carl Fletcher, and Stew Jackson are all at Meaford close by. I'm in Philly on covert operations making sure the is no invasion being planned!! Cheers, Mike Greville

Hey Glen,
I am still in Winnipeg. Work for the U of M.
I heard form Al Samuel you are in T.O. How is life treating you there?
The Grant were good times eh?
There are still a few Royals here in the Peg.
