Hi Gary and Jim
Do you recall when the whole band including me Wilf Bested,Lou Medhurst Johnie Church were quarantined to that shack for  up to three weeks because a young fellow by the name of Jarvis was suspected of carrying the meningitis virus.I think that was shortly after we came back from Germany in 57.probably 58 or 59.They used to drop all the meals at the door and we all lived outside camp, (Wilf,Lou and Me).We were section cmds.and John was Pl.Sgt.

No I was too young. I never came along til 61 and Gary did too but I heard the story many times from Wilf and Johnie.
