I believe Eric still lives in Carlton Place near Ottawa.See him on parade with Deke Kingston.Len Delaney and sqeak Edmunds.(legion) Earl. Donaldson sent me regards from these guys whom i haven,t seen for years, last year.I did see Eric briefly at 2002 re-union.Earl sent me a picture of Ancre Heights Pl.(depot 1961 when he was going through his Basic.Me,Matheson and Turtle Anderson were Cpls.Truax was Pl Sgt,and Ted Slaney was depot C.S.M.Jim,Ref.Redmond,he was A Coy clerk for a while with I believe Dogface Anderson as C.S.M. R.I.P.I had 3 tours in Germany,so maybe got screwed up in dates.51-53 in Hannover with 48th Highlanders and 55-57,62-65 1 R.C.R. (Fort York} I was Tpt.Sgt.C Coy when I left for civvy street Nov65.

I didn't mean for you to get upset over "Tike" and which Coy he was with. I thought you probably got mixed up. Hey, I would get mixed up if I had the many trips to Germany that you've had (3 times). I started with C Coy and I finished with C Coy with Tike Coy Clerk. "Tike" was easy on me and seemed to like me, and I hold him dear to my heart. I realized that you didn't go to Cyprus with us and that you retired in 65. I apologise if I was to harsh on you about the Coy. Pro Patria.

You're right or at least part right, my brother was in Sigs Pl with Jim Thistle and crew. So time hasn't done a thing to your memory. If you got some pictures put them on.

I definately remember your brother,s face from the pic and thanks for posting it,no denying your brothers.By the way,I got an e-mail from Earl Donaldson the other day who keeps in touch with the guys out Eric,s way,and he told me Deke Kingston is having a lot of circulation problems in his legs and was having an operation the other day.However theres a gang of them going to the re-union in Truro including Deke,so hope all goes well with him. Do you remember Art (boots) Tribble?he lost a leg to diabetes last year,and he lives in London.We keep in touch.I remember when Art marched his whole fire picket to the piss can,I believe that was 55-57 Fort York.Cheers for now.
